First steps

Max has grown up from his crib bed or it is just so heavy for me to put him in and out so we decided to update his bed and some details in the room. I am so happy to collaborate on this post with *Jollyroom, the biggest online store for the kids in the northern countries. You can find anything from their online shop from toys and clothing to kids furniture.

Before & After

Now you can see how the room used to look before… and after! To say the truth, I am more than happy with the result. So here is what we changed:We changed baby crib to *JLY Dream Junior bed with *JLY mattress. It was important for me that bed has sidings because Max is sleeping often on the edge of the bed and moves quite a lot even when sleeping. This bed and mattress make it all great! It was very easy to install the bed by the way 🙂

For cozy atmosphere we changed our old chandelier to *Cloudberry Castle Stars in grey color from Jollyroom. I like new chandelier as it goes a bit lower to the floor and makes Max’s room cozier. We also added *Moonlight from Jollyroom on the wall. The moonlight is installed at height so that Max can put it on and off by himself. It is powered by 2 AA-batteries which are easy to change (quick tip use rechargeable batteries to keep the running costs low).

Alice & Fox house bookshelf

*Alice & Fox 3-storied house bookshelf turned out to be Max’s favorite item of the bunch which we also got in collaboration with Jollyroom. When we were installing it, I planned to put and organize his toys and books in it but Max was first to it and I am so happy how he did it almost by himself. The rest of the toys are in the lower drawer. Although, the bookshelf depth is only 30 cm, it can contain a lot of toys. We used to keep our toys in baby box which is given to every baby born in Finland and it was so full of toys. Now everything is more organized like in Montessori school and every thing has its own place.
